so, this isn't an instant gratification kind of thing


So, if you don't know this about me, I will let you in on a little secret...I'm addicted to instant gratification.  I mean, I even have a problem with online shopping [although I do my fair share of that too].  I just like it when it happens and it's there.  I can also tell you that I love beauty products, as-seen-on-tv things, pens..and oh, I l-o-v-e gadgets.  

Now, I am trying to remind myself that weight-loss too fast can result in some pretty heinous things like....

really, this is gross.

Not really something that I'm interested in.  I've been told that if I loose the weight healthily and work my body like it is supposed to be worked, this won't happen.  [If this isn't a fact, do not tell me.  One day at a time here, I can deal with that wwwaaayyy down the road.]

But, the waiting isn't really fun; correction, it isn't even a little fun. It is a complete injustice that it takes 2 seconds to eat something that is going to go straight to my ass, and that it takes some seriously hard work to get that shit off. 

So, the last time I stepped on the scale, I had a minor break down about gaining weight back over the holidays.  That is the thing that spurred this whole 'change.' But, through my breakdown, I didn't record my exact weight.  But, without further adieu` -- I've lost 6 lbs this last week.  [it's somewhere between 6 and 9, but we will go with the safest estimate.]

Woo...let's hope next week is as successful.  :)
